Forgive me if my curiosity compels, but I've tried to figure out what your avatar picture is... I've stretched my eyeballs (OO) ...have used a magnifying glass.... I've turned my head upside down...I've turned the laptop upside down.... and I still can't figure it out.
If it's not too much of a bother or anything too personal, is it possible to know what your avatar picture is? Lol.... sowwy ....
Warm regards, Shan-Lyn
I've learnt a long time ago, that to educate oneself, one simply has to..... ask.

Freesoul,
If you do go, by chance, and if you do take a picture, could you send me a bigger copy? lol It would save me an airfare.
Sure! I usually spend my summer holidays somewhere in Europe. I haven't yet been to Brussels, but be sure that should I go there and take a photo to the statue, I send you a copy for sure. Anyway, I don't believe this year...

Dennis, you don't want to know what I thought, lol. On second thought...
Poor Stacey, I thought she had fallen on the floor while she was practicing a ballerina jump, as I figured she was probably so pale due to a tight dancing suit. This is definitely one photo for the 'Rorschach Tests' (Inkblot photos in Psychology)...or maybe a Quiz show...
Disclaimer: This is all in good jest Stacey
Stacey knows she's got an open invitation to dinner at the best restaurant in Monterey if/when she makes it down this way...
*Shan jumps up and down the restaurant window like 'Olivette Twist'*

Not long after 9/11 a sculptor made his own personal memorial of the day by making a sculpture, very similar to Stacey's photo, of a person falling from the towers just before they hit the ground. As can be expected there was much public outrage and distaste over the artist's subject matter, but out of context it was very beautiful and well done. Stacey's avatar reminded me of it every time I would glance at it but I didn't think it was that, necessarily. Interesting background on what it really turned out to be though.

I was intrigued by this life-sized statue of a falling woman, which is resting on a hidden pedestal so that she appears to be hovering just above the water-line of a fountain. If you’re ever in Brussels, you can find her in a tiny park behind the fine arts museum in the centre of the city. Cheers, Stacey
Hello Stacey,
Aha! The light comes. I will definitely have to include this statue in my Tourist Attractions if ever I'm in Brussels.
