Oh, I guess it was a good 6.5 feet. Good thing it was artificial. But we had to get it cleaned up before the boss came in.

Hi there,

A couple of years ago I had two Bunnies. Harrison was my first bunny. All white, with a little black on his nose and hind. I had him for 11 years (the Vet was shocked). When I let him out in my apartment, he would run about, do these crazy flips. Then when he wanted to rest, he would stretch out on his side, with legs crossed and relax. And if he wanted to sleep, he would flip over on his back. It freaked me out the first time. I thought he was dying. But he was just tired. If my Dad played the guitar, he would run over and lay in front of my Dad's feet. Timber, my second bunny (all black) with floppy ears, was a beautiful girl bunny that would make little purring sounds when you asked "come here". Harrison made no sounds. She also loved to play hide and seek when I wore my very long bathrobe. She would go in and out of the hem when she saw it. They were both so cute. They would bump their wet noses into my ankle. They are now in Heaven, frolicking in the grass.

I also noticed if I moved to one side of the building, it wouldn't be long before he was over there, too. And if I went down a hall he couldn't get into, he'd still keep an eye on me through a window until I came back. He also learned that getting on the elevator would take him to other floors where he could pester the other cats. One time he decided to climb the Christmas tree and brought the whole thing down. After I brought him home, one time he went over to the neighbor's house and was meowing at their door trying to rile up their terrier.

As pets, they aren't very funny animals but my daughter is happy with them :-)

I have a two-word answer that solves the "curiosity crisis" as I call it: "He's magic!" And as with the turtles, they can be pretty funny! I also have a tortoise, and sometimes he tries to climb out of his enclosure, and has gotten stuck one time, teetering on the edge!

I love budgies! My neighbour had some, and they were funny, especially when they'd try to fly! Their wings were clipped, of course, so when they'd flutter off her shoulder, they'd spin in circles like maple seeds!

I have a handsome German Shepard and when he was a year old, I had one stick of butter, my last stick of butter on the counter to soften before I made cookies and I went to open the front door to play with Blackjack and he ran inside, reached up on the counter and swallowed the entire stick of butter before I had a chance to take a breath! So I went next door to me neighbor, who we bought Blackjack from and asked if I could buy a stick from her since it was her dog that ate it and I really wanted to make those cookies! I miss that sweet dog.

Oh, gosh! Sounds like something Linus would have done! Another story: one of my mom's friends has a chocolate lab, and when she was a puppy, she ate an entire loaf of French bread! An entire loaf! Amazing the damage one little puppy can do! Roll Eyes

Aww! Out of curiosity, does she randomly howl in her sleep? My dog, a beagle puppy, does and I am curious if it's just a beagle thing, 'cause, of course, beagles are BIG howlers! Roll Eyes Big Grin

Same with my dog! Nothing is sacred anymore. Sometimes when my head is turned to look out the window when I'm eating, he tries to snag a taste off my plate (a nasty habit my dad sparked by giving him table scraps or letting him lick the plate when he was a young puppy)!
