Seasonal Greetings All, from USA's Pacific NW! We've just weathered the heaviest longest snowfall that anyone remembers! No one hurt, that I know of; it was utter heaven for me, with so much community bonding togther, worth writing a song about! (some day? My thoughts about what our world's troubles are, have to do with control vs connection, both large scale and small...So, I am liquidating all I "own" and moving (slowly) into life with the forest, learning all about our 4-legged, finned, winged and more, brothers & sisters; the flora & fauna we have grown so far away from...only 4 years until 2012!...Seasonal Blessings!*john
Hi! Yes we had a ton of snow, the first in a long time, which I do remember because I love the snow. Now we are drowning in rivers overflowing from the melting of all the snow. It's a mess in the N.W. Luckily I am still dry. As for year 2012; my brother-in-law was telling us about the Mayan calendar and people predict the life on earth will end on 12-22-2012, the day after his birthday when he will be able to receive Social Security. "Just my luck!" he laughs about it. He and his wife just came back from Mexico and he explained that the reason the calendar ended was because the man making the calendar died and no one had the knowledge to continue it. Sorry to say, we will live past year 12-22-2012. Yeah! More Loreena!!!
Love, Gina

If 2012 by the Mayan Calendar, nothing will happen. It's passed.
Mayan Calendar 2012 = Gregorian Calendar 2000.
There is so much erroneous information circulating around on the internet, perhaps it's best to just rely on one's proper intuition and common sense.
Happy New Year, Shan
P.S. Of course there will be people to disagree... I expect it. But seriously, just pay heed to the weather which is really 'normal' for our planet and its transitions, and to our natural psychological/spiritual/physical changes. One step, at a time....

Well, I read somewhere that the capricorns reach as deep as they reach high. Therefore the sign is the horn of a goat and the tale of a fish, in one.

A warm welcome to you from Scandinavia.
Couldn't you have lent a bit of that winterstorm to us in Denmark?! I love snow. (I am a child of winter) And this Christmas wasn't one of the 7 snowy chrismases we get in a century in DK. In fact it was one of the warmest ever!
I also am very fond of Nature. But unfortunally there isn't much forrest and green fields where I live now
A hppy new year too you. And the hope you will find your inner animal!
Greetings
