Did Loreena have formal voice training?
I really don't know much about her, except that her music, and voice has captured me so totally..

I honestly don't find it that surprising... I personally have an interest in gospel music, celtic, and various other kinds... I do enjoy singing classical/opera music, but it's usually not my top choice... unless you count sacred music, but to me that's very slightly different from typical classical music.

However I've chosen to be trained in the operatic/classical style because I feel that really stresses good technique above all else, and will help me get where I want to go with my voice... it seems to be working Big Grin.

I've heard that she's had quite a few years of classical voice training. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty darn sure it's true!
