I adore her clothes as well, I wear Pre-Rapherlite costume a lot, I am a boy but was brought up very feminine, My Mother loves me to model for her.

Yes, I love her clothes too. Like someone else said, it's too bad one can't wear clothes like that everyday and not get laughed out.
I think it's a pity Western men wear such booring clothes. In other cultures, men carry purse-like bags, dress in any colour they want, and wear clothing that involve skirts, embroidery, etc. and it is not thought effiminate at all. I think men can wear clothes that are just as beautiful as women's. Think about the 1700s in France; men wore ribbons, satin, lace, jewels, etc. and still looked quite handsome and dashing. You never know, though. Maybe they're very comfortable.

Hi Everyone!

What I wonder is whether or not Loreena wears those types of clothes on her own time, or if it's just for show at concerts and her CD's. They are beautiful clothes though and I'd love to wear something like that everyday. Smiler

I'll surely send you some photos when I finally make up my mind and put on some of the above mentioned clothes.
Probably I'll never be bold enough to wear a skirt in public, but... well, I might work as a dummy... or maybe put on a long red wig, some very smart female dresses and... start acting as Loreena's double.

Actually, in most parts of the world men traditionally wear "skirts", and used to only employ trousers when riding or performing other such activities. In China and Japan you find straight gowns and kimonos, for example. Along with the rest of the above mentioned.

I do have got the legs for it! Big Grin I quite agree with you, Hadewey. We are too much tied to our western ideals and prejudices. It's such a shame that, if I wanted to wear a skirt, most of the people would probably laugh at me.

Vale, take a look at Karzai's (President of Afghanistan) clothes, his cloaks are always very elegant, he combines occidental and oriental styles. He uses green, but in Syria you'll find "Imperial blue" velvet.

Yes, you're right! I know Karzai, I was forgetting his elegance. I think he has been awarded "Smartest politician of the year" (or something similar) two years ago, or last year - I can't remember. I also like it when Prince Charles wears his beautiful kilts. But nothing is better than African clothing and style... women in Senegal are so similar to goddesses when they wear their traditional dresses.

It's such a pity that jeans are so widespread... Big Grin

Well Eddie Izzard is a dude, and he looks GREAT in women's clothes! I'd say: try and enjoy!

And indeed: the fact that men should wear pants is just a western ideal, Indonesian men wear beautiful coloured long sarongs, and in the west we have scottish men being very cool and strong, in Kilts! And guess what? all the women are wearing pants! HAHAHAHA! Nah seriously, If a guy wants to waer a skirt, go ahead! If you got the legs for it... Big Grin

The dress itself that she's wearing is gorgeous, even though you can't see it all that well. It looks like a shimmery in that perfect shade of green. That part could be Greek?
Thanks for posting the link!

Thanks Fedelma! Wink
I'd like to wear a dress like that... this is one of the cases when I regret not being a woman... Big Grin
