bhe sinceramente non è provato assolutamente che Merlino il druido si trova in una tomba a Broceliande....per ora è leggenda...
sincerely is not absolutely proved that the tomb of Merlin is in BROCELIANDE legend yet ... for now .. it is likely that Merlin was a druid but he was good and the bad Morgana ... this is a clear reference to religion ... Morgan is the ancient cult, that the old religion, and the new Merlin, that it is today. .. in reality it is likely that even Merlin practice the ancient religion ...insomma è una lunga storia.... betty
The forest of Broceliande is a very enchanting place to visit. As I went to the Bretagne for holidays, I found many interesting places there and the towns you name (Quimper, Concarneau, Locronan, Josselin) are really worth a visit.
Many thanks for your beautiful pictures!
With kind regards,
Thorsten

SO AMAZING!!!! This could possibly be where the last of the Druids lies, and could leave a clue as to where Camelot might have been. Supposedly people have already found the gates of Troy, so there's hope for Camelot!

You have visited such an enchanting area, and I do want to go there soon too. I find the pics of the coast in Pointe du Raz absolutely wonderful. The mist too gave a magical touch to that uncontaminated environment, where the waves broke on the rocks. But even the Breton little villages seem to be cosy corners of the world to discover, still more Mont St Michel Abbey...another planet. Very nice pohotos. Thank you.

Dear all, Here are some photos of the trip I made last week to the region of Brittany in France where Merlin's tomb is supposed to be. One of the things I can assure you 100% is that this is a wonderful place to visit, enjoy! http://picasaweb.google.com/fa...2009?feat=directlink (Comments are in Catalan and English).

Perhaps we're all singing from the same hymn book but to different tunes The stories must have moved with the people.
Merlin and Arthur crop up all over the place.
I lived in Wales during my time in the Royal Air Force and the area around Carmarthen is full of references to Merlin, or Myrddin. The town is claimed as his birthplace. Near Pembroke, where I lived is Merlin's Bridge, Carmarthen has Bryn Myrddin, Merlin's Hill. It goes on...
Here in the West Country, Arthur just refuses to go away. Now my parents live in Normandy just between Domfront and Mortain. The local legends are all based on Arthur and Merlin and there are places in the local forest attributed to the story. Fosse d'Arthur supposedly the burial place of King Arthur is near my parents cottage in St Georges Du Rouilley.

Thank you for your comment about the forest, Nazzie, I'll be going there during the Holy Week and I feel very curious about it, at least it is nice to know you liked it! Best regards,

I was there in that forest in Brittany. It is marvellous. It look s like an ancient forest of old tales and myths. Really wonderful. The air feels fresh and clean, the trees seem to tell you old stories, and the stones stand watching your path like they did 1000 years before... Well so much for the forest. Merlins tomb is a farce. Its a simple stone tomb which is commercialised as "merlin's tomb". So is "Arthur's cave". Just a little natural stone cave.
The more interesting thing is the roman military camp, they discovered....
