I was not in Verona so it is hard to me to say if it's true or not; in any case she stated she would play with PFM in a radio interview, Radio Montecarlo to be precise, that she gave three days before the concert...it's always something...

I know, I'm very late but here's the link where you can see my photo of the Verona concert. It was very difficult to take them, my seat was very far, but I hope you like them. Bye, Mary

I was disappointed too! At bottom she gave two performances, while other artists even four....why to sacrifice one of Loreena's? I found it distasteful! Anyway she was very beautiful, and smiling when she joined everyone to sing the last Christmas song.
Yep..she was in a good mood!

I saw the concert broadcast on Italian TV last night and recorded it too - so hopefully will make the clip available soon for whoever wants to see it. The dress was very similar (not the same)to the one Loreena wore in the Summer Tour. That is, black waistcoat with purple-ish , see-through chiffon sleeves, big black Elisabethan skirt.
On TV, it was only shown the part with her singing Snow with orchestral arrangement, accompanied by Caroline, Hugh Marsh and Brian Hughes on guitar. Whilst she was singing, on the background there was a projection of falling snowflakes.
Then she sang with all the other artists John Lennon's "So this is Xmas" (or whatever it's called). She was right in the middle of the crowd and was on camera quite a few times.
Big disappointments were: She was only broadcast late, towards the end of the 2-hour show. All the while most artists had already performed 2 or more songs each and Loreena had't even been on stage once yet. Not really fair.
Also, the #@!z#@ Italian presenter Mara Venier mispronounced her name (would it have been too hard an effort to learn how to pronounce Loreena's first and last names the English way before the beginning of the show, like any other professional would do?).
Then, when inroducing her, the ignorant presenter defined Loreena "Queen of New Age" or something along these lines. If Loreena got a chance to hear that from the backstage, she wont't have been best pleased!
Finally, the presenter didn't even stop Loreena after the performance to exchange a few words like the did with all the other artists - Loreena finished the song and shooted off straight away.
Overall, though, the rendition of Snow was awesome, especially as there was an entire Orchestra playing with Loreena and also because I had never heard her perform this song live before!
A good full marks to Loreena's performance. She blew me away. If u need other details, I will be happy to share.
Ps. If it is allowed to post images on the forum, I would like to share with you a couple of still frames taken from the TV show. If anyone knows, please let me know how to do it and I will share them tomorrow.
Goodnight folks,and Happy Christmas!
