Dear Loreena,

It was one year ago today I had the pleasure of sharing an evening with you in Marin, California. The memories from that concert are as alive today as they were then; thank you for such a beautiful night.

Oddly enough, May 14th was the date I first heard you and your musicians perform nine years earlier in 1998 at Masonic Hall in San Francisco, California. Nine years is a long time and many times I wondered if you would grace the stage again which made your concert in 2007 all the more special.

Thank you for all you give of yourself though your music.

Kari...I think I can see your house from my house...I saw the Oakland show on May 12th. Hard to believe a year has passed already. Loreena does give a lot of herself...probably more than anyone I've ever known. It's what I respect the most about her.
