I was totally blown away by the Loreena McKennitt concert I experienced in Boston. Honestly, I don't think it could have been any better. But if I was to pick the evening's set list I would have included some other songs. What are some songs you would have liked to hear?

Here are mine:

Annachie Gordon
The Two Trees
Kercharitomene
Stolen Child
Standing Stones

P.S. I don't mean this question in a negative way, just in a wistful and curious way. Loreena and the band could have performed anything and I would have been pleased!

Years later, I fall into this post and I can say that I totally agree with the 4 ones!

Oh, that one is one of my favourites! It's called Mary and the Soldier (or Gallant Soldier).

I suppose a more positive way for me to have stated this was "What do you want to see next time. Very true, Ritsjoena.

The chicago concert was great but I wished they played "Cymberline" and "The Two Trees". But again, it was perfect the way it was. Loreenatics all the way!!
Till we meet again...

Loreena could have added:
Prospero's Speech
Annachie Gordan
Come by the Hills
Incantation
Standing Stones
Prologue

I am glad she did not include "Free Bird". Big Grin If you don't understand the joke, look in Bellingham.
I am still cheering Loreena and the band! I am glad she played all my favorites.
Love to all,
Gina

I'd have loved to hear "Good King Wensalas",
"Kercharitomene", "Snow" & my favorite "Courtyard Lullaby", just to mention a few.
From the other Mainer!
