My wife and I attended past July 15th to the performance of Loreena in Madrid and like the other three times in the last 15 years, Loreena filled us of emotion, but I mean that we missed a lot to the electrical violin Hugh Marsh and although his substitute made enough good, the force of Hugh, the habitual complicity with Brian (Guitar) and Caroline (Cello)..... Somebody knows the reason of because Hugh it is not in the 2008 tour? Carlos
At the beginning of the concert I was disapointed too with the absence of Hugh Marsh, since as you well say, he is one of the highest values of the band, but after enjoying the magnifical performance by Zoltan Lantos, I changed my point of view and finally I was not missing anybody else there that night. I think he has a more traditional fiddle sound, a bit different in style, but found that he is a great musician too and I wish he could be present in the next Loreena's album by sharing his talent with Hugh Marsh.
