An Ancient Muse Tour returns to Canada Exclusive pre-sale ticket offer for QR Community members
Loreena McKennitt and Quinlan Road are pleased to announce that she will undertake a 17-date tour of Canada this September, running coast-to-coast from Halifax to Vancouver. And, as a member of the Quinlan Road Community, you and your fellow members will have the opportunity to buy tickets before anyone else.
“The recording cycle does not feel complete until we have the opportunity to share the music with a live audience, just as one might share a favourite meal with friends,” says Loreena. “It has been a long time since we have performed in a number of these communities and I’m very pleased that we now have a window of opportunity to do so.”
This is Loreena’s third tour this year to support her latest studio recording, An Ancient Muse, a Top Ten success and platinum-selling record in Canada. Spring tours took her to nine European countries, followed by a North American tour covering 21 US cities and concerts in Toronto, Montreal and Victoria.
Tickets for all 17 autumn concerts will go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 16. However, Quinlan Road is pleased to offer the Quinlan Road Community the chance to purchase tickets during an exclusive one-week pre-sale period beginning Monday, July 9 at 10am.
Click on the link below to access a members-only page with full details of this exclusive pre-sale offer, including relevant website addresses and telephone numbers, and the passwords you will need to access pre-sale ticketing either by phone or by web.
I LOVED THE SHOW IN BOSTON AND WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM SEEING AN EXACT COPY OF THE SHOW AGAIN. IT WOULD BE NICE WITH THE HOLIDAYS AROUND THE CORNER (AT THAT TIME) TO HEAR A FEW DIFFERENT SONGS LIKE "GOOD KING WENSALAS", "SNOW" THINGS LIKE THAT. ALSO THERE SEEMED TO BE A LOT OF MESSAGE BOARD POSTINGS DURING THE SPRING TOUR ABOUT "KECHARITOMENE" AND HOW PEOPLE WANTED TO HEAR THAT PERFORMED AS WELL. I DON'T WANT TO SPECULATE THAT I'M EVEN GONNA GET TO SEE A SHOW UNTIL IT'S FINALIZED. I HOPE PORTLAND, MAINE WILL BE ON THE FINAL LIST.

Anyone who gets to go see her in Canada, have a great time!
The other Mainer at the Boston show, cross your fingers for the possible Portland, Maine show.

I have front row tickets for the Thunder Bay show I still don't believe it. It was pure luck, really. September 24th is also my birthday, so perhaps it was meant to be... This good fortune is starting to make me believe in fate *lol*

Like I said, it was a tough decision, never thought I'd find myself in a position to turn down the chance to go to a Loreena concert. I guess I've been spoiled by my earlier concerts. Now, if front row seats had been available, it might have been a different decision.
ok..i see well front row seats would be worth it but it's up to you to decide

I'm new to the board, but a long time Loreena fan.
I am also a QR member, but accidentally deleted my pre-sale e-mail with the offer code. Has anyone got a code I could use? I would appreciate it a millionfold...
Ah~ So nice to see that more people will be blessed with experiencing Loreena & her great bandmates LIVE & have the opportunity to buy Nights From The Alhambra before it's release date...or will the release date precede these shows???? In any case, I'm glad I saw Loreena thrice in Cali & got to meet with her twice & give her a token of my love & if my home loan check was in my eager hands already I'd be tempted to fly to see her again.... Watching the DVD again at the moment....

London, ON would've been the closest, but I think it's probably still a 3-4 hour drive for me. If I had never seen Loreena before, I suppose I would've made the effort. But I've already seen her twice this year, including once from the 2nd row. So I decided to put my wallet back in my pocket. I'll patiently wait till she swings back my way sometime down the road.
Whaaaat!I checked on a map and i noticed that london is not far from michigan..you should go..ohhhhh if i had the chance to see her live in another european tour i would certainly go..you know..i missed the italian tour dates this year and no more european dates this fall

Hi Dan, I intend to see her a 2nd time as well. I've already purchased for Montreal, and at present am juggling my agenda for Moncton, NB as I'll be close to that area around that time to go work on my land in North New England. I'm trying to bring my relatives. Aye, it will be a family affair. When Acadians start filling the arena, an artist such as Loreena would need an extra Arena. ;-) Warm blessings, Shan
