Loreena McKennitt has been forced to postpone her upcoming Greek tour dates.
She was scheduled to have performed June 9 in Patra, June 10 in Athens and June 11 in Thessaloniki, but a serious medical emergency involving her mother’s health has caused Ms. McKennitt to postpone the dates until further notice.
“I want my audience in Greece to understand how important these concerts are to me and I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience it is causing. However I have no other option but to stay by my mother’s side at this time and once her medical condition is stabilized, I hope to reschedule these dates. This may be as soon as the end of June or sometime in the future.”

Ah, I glad that things are well with Ms. McKennitt's mother. But still, I am keeping both Lady Loreena and Mrs. Irene McKennitt in my prayers. Nevertheless, Loreenakateers, it's time for a little rejoicing and a Coca-Cola toast for a successful Mediterranean tour by the wondrous Lady of Quinlan Road. Loreenya
