Rainchasing in Budapest:)

After two days of that mesmerizing, unforgettable concert in the rainshower in Margaret Island, Budapest, I still cannot find words how to say a big thank you to Loreena and everyone in her team for that wonderful experience. The audience had got soaking wet by the time the concert started in those terrible weather conditions.
But Loreena and the band made pure magic on stage leading us to a world of grace, kindness, never seen harmony in music filled with passion, love and tenderness that we forgot all our troubles within minutes. And when she sang Bonny Portmore, even the Gods had mercy on us by stopping the rain.
I will never forget that night and hope she will be with us again "very soon".

Thank you, Loreena, Hungary loves you so much!

I promise that I will write about my feelings about the best concert of my life very soon. I have some exams left at the university, and then I will write about everything.

For me the highlights of the show were these songs:
- Raglan Road
- The Old Ways
- Santiago (with Zoltan Lantos)

But I also loved all the other songs, especially The Gates of Istanbul in the heavy rain (from that moment, listening to this song, always come to my mind the rainy experience and the appearing of Loreena), and the final piece Penelope's Song. (Oh these were alpha and omega of the concert :-) good)

Thank you Loreena for everything!

Hi freesoul,

my first plan was to go to Taormina. But the transfer of money from the tax office I was waiting for came too late. The concert was already sold out. So Budapest was the next best appointment for me. As I have described it was a wonderful fascinating and a little bit adventurous experience. I remembered my acting in my open air theatre at home ...
Friends who have visited Taormina said that it is one of the most beautiful places they know. Perhaps I will come for a longer time there some day - including a concert of Loreena ...?
Wish you'll see Loreena soon.
Warm greetings to Italy

Dieter

Thank you very much, Loreena, for this wonderful concert and the opportunity to meet you personally afterwards and to present poems of great German Poets to you. May it be a further wide inspiration to you.

My Hungurian friends, Budapest is a wonderful city. The day after the concert I had look around, visited several places - the weather showed its beste side! - fascinating picturesque
impressions. Everywhere the city breathes history!

Warm greetings

Dieter

Hello Dieter,

It's so nice that you had a very good time with us at the Loreena show in Budapest and that you liked our country too.

See you again at the next Loreena concert, as she said: "very soon" Smiler

dear Dieter, I'm very glad that you've liked Budapest, despite of this weather. Smiler I'm glad that you've seen the city by night too, because the Danube, the King's Castle, the bridges and the Parliament are so beautiful when they are lighted. BTW the Margaret Isle used to be very friendful surround - in other cases. Smiler
I hope we will meet together again *very soon*, in another tour of Loreena! Smiler
Tschüss,
Andi

Seriously, who cares about rain, snow, cold, storm, anything, when Loreena sings??? Everybody said or wrote, that after the first tunes they totally forgot, that they were sitting in water, shivering, being wet through, and there was nothing, just the music.

I wanted to get their autograph but they did not show up at the back door.

Dear Ambassador, Caroline was there! Just a short time, when Loreena has withdrawn a little Smiler - Caroline is also charming, cordial, gracious - we could talk to her, some people were made photos with her. I have just sayed a humble thank for her play - I love see and hear her play on the cello. Nobody in the world can play in such a way. I mad for those long rounds in the end of the songs...
I also talked to Loreena too. She is really a simple Fairy. Didn't seem tired anyway! She was smiling, laughing, chatting with us, listening to all of us, one by one... thanks to her, to Caroline, to Clive, to Simon, to Ben, to Brian, to Hugh, to Stratis - and to Zoltan Lantos of course. Smiler For everything.
