Hi all!

I'm a relatively new Loreena McKennitt fan (having first heard of Loreena about 8 months ago), and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which venue's she usually goes to whilst on tour...if there are any specific one's.

I live in Birmingham, UK, and would really like to know where the nearest/most accessible venue is likely to be when Loreena next tours. I can't do that with the lack of information that I have at the moment.

All answer's would be much appreciated.

I wasn't even aware that she had gone to London! Mind you I only have the list of The Book of Secrets tour to go by...I'm guessing that list would include her more frequent destinations, but the closest cities to Birmingham on that tour were Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris. But at least she occaisionally comes to your country; she hasn't been to Australia for over a decade (Loreena, I'm getting tired of asking...PLEEEEEEEEEASE come to Australia, or we'll all be so tired from asking you that we won't come to your shows and it will be a waste of time for both of us!...I'm just kidding, obviously; we will come to your show no matter what!). Besides, London and Birmingham aren't terribly far away are they? It's a lot closer than, say...Ullapool!

About venues, I advise you to browse the long list of tourdates you can find in this section (Tour, Performances & Appearances).
If you live in England, however, I suppose you can expect she comes just to London, like two years ago. And then once she performed in Scotland too, but long ago. It would be fantastic if she could tour each country, town after town, instead of one or two towns only, but I am aware she woundn't go back home anymore!
