Smiler Hi all,

Thursday 24/07 Loreena performed in Quimper, "Little Brittany".
It was wonderful, she was beautiful and all the songs were perfects. Any wrong note! Any technical problems! Except for "Stolen Child" played with Dan ar Braz.

Loreena was more relax than Paris for example.
Audience was exceptional and she felt it.
Every song had emotion, deepness, her voice...
i don't have words to describe it, another personn really.
The concert began at 9p.m and finished at 11.20p.m, all the band freak out!! Razzer
There was " three encore ", she sangs "Huron Beltane Fire Dance", "Penelope's song" and "goodbye, thank you very much" Big Grin

What else?, Breton were up to their reputation.
It was a really, really good time.
Here are all the songFrownerin disorder)

"She moves throw the fair", "The gates of istanbul", Beautiful "The Highway man", "The lady of shalott", "The bonny swans", "Huron Beltane Fire dance", "Penelope's song", "Dante's Prayer", "The olds ways", Extraordinary "Santiago & Marco Polo", Sumptuos "Caravanserai & Mystic dreams a The mummers dance", "Never-ending Road", "Raglan Road", "Bonny Portmore" and "the Stolen Child" with Dan ar braz. In all 18 songs.

What else?, With a little group we met her, she's always approachable and smiling. Smiler
She said, she was happy to her return in brittany... there was a BIG OVATION for all the band. Again, CONGRATULATIONS.
If you read it (Mark and Loreena) thanks!

Hi to the ULDLO staff and members, Guillaume, Corinne, Jean-Luc..

It's a great pity that Hugh Marsh and Karen didn't come?!!

See you soon and all the best. CHEERS.

Wasn't it The Old Ways? (not sure though).

While we're at it, who was the tabalardeur (the bombarde player) who came on stage to play one song with Loreena on July 24th, I think during the encores at the end of the show? He must have had the time of his life that night. I think he was also one of the players on the Place St Corentin playing during the Breton dancing teaching?

I found the Quimper concert was terrific. In a way it was better than the one in the Alhambra in the sense that Loreena's voice was at the top in Quimper. In Grenada, due to the fact that it was outside, it was different, but I wouldn't have missed any of those concerts.

A week after Quimper, I met an woman at a Bann-Heol concert in Fouesnant who had been both to Quimper and Lorient to see Loreena.

(Et si tu te reconnais, je serais enchantée que l'on reste en contact. J'espère que tu as aimé le CD de Bann-Heol.)

I was there too! I've been to 5 concerts this summer (so far) and Dan Ar Braz, whom I had never seen before, was in 3 of them: the one with Karen Matheson, the Loreena's one, and La nuit des étoiles celtiques

Hi everybody , hello jean-luc
Smiler
I don't go to the concert in St Malo et Lorient,
next time, maybe. It was a beautiful moment share with the audience in Quimper.
Theatre d'Orange, good idea but the best it will be the city of Carcassonne.???

Bye

Betty, hai visto anche il concerto del 25? Loreena si esibiva con altri artisti?

Betty, did you attend the concert of July 25?
Did she perform with other artists by chance?
