I was bit concerned when we arrived that the speaker, being so close, would blow us out of our seats but it wasn't even a factor. The "big" event staffer was really a gentle giant. I was cutting up with him throughout the show...Telling him to keep am eye on my wife who happens to be a school teacher because she could be a trouble maker. Of course he was buying it! Speaking of which, what a great audience. A big difference from the concerts I attended back in my college days. I wish I would have plugged into this board before the show...would have been nice to do a meet and greet!

You may have heard me say THANK YOU! when she was going to do the encore and she replied Your Very Welcome! WOOO!!
I heard you! Wish I'd known where you were, I'd have come over and said hello, and I love your handle, btw. quote: Originally posted by bbb007: ...adjacent to the rather large event staff member...
You aren't kidding, that dude was huge! I walked up to take a closer look at the speaker rig after the show, and he was like a foot and a half taller than me! quote: Originally posted by sycsailor: I still don't know what to say to Loreena and I've been thinking about it since being rendered speechless this April.
I didn't see you still hanging around when Loreena finally made it out. Did you get to greet her? I got to see her and talk to her briefly, and actuallly managed coherent speech this time, I was proud of myself! I also enjoyed getting to talk to the rest of the band, especially Ben, thanks to whom I finally understand exactly how a hurdy-gurdy works!

I recall that...So interesting being able to connect with so many obscure moments. Just in case you noticed I was the rather tall male in a cream colored shirt siting in the first two seats in the front row (left) adjacent to the rather large event staff member. I was impressed with the entire troupe but the percussions were exceptional. Not to deny Loreena's flawless performance!
