Loreena writes: “It has been our wish and desire to tour as many parts of the world as we possibly can. However, given the many considerations involving costs, logistics, venue availabilities and balancing the human interests of those in the touring company, it is impossible to achieve everything we desire in this realm. We extend our regrets to those in places where we are not able to perform on this next round of touring, and our hopes that in the future we will be able to travel to you – particularly my fellow countrymen and women in Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories.” LM

Dan, and I thought I was the only one to think this. If Loreena had a pedometer on her foot, she could be recorded in the Guinness book of World records. ;-)
It's amazing that you've played as many places as you have already (and intend to) this year. It seems a daunting proposition to move the band from place to place night after night, be ready to play, and keep the performance at such a high level, all the while keeping a handle on the business end of it (promotion of the Alhambra CD, getting Mark paid on time, etc)...it's a real testament to commitment and endurance. I've no doubt you'll find a way to play Nunavut (had to Google that one...). I wish I had your kind of energy Loreena... See you in Vancouver...

While I grew up in Massachusetts, we spent almost every summer vacationing on Prince Edward Island. I consider it my second home in ways, and without being a Canadian citizen it's as close as I could be without actually being one. With the bridge there now I'm sure it would be much easier (logistically) to get there. I'm sure the people of P.E.I. would love to see Loreena. I know in reading about Loreena she was a highdancer in her earlier days, which is very big down there. August and the "Old Home Week" would be a great time to play.

I think Loreena's solution would be that she'd have to be "omnipresent", as long as gravity keeps her stuck on the earth. <warm smile>
Thank you Loreena for this message...I wish you my best wishes for your american tour...! and I hope see you and your band soon...in Europe if is possible....ciao Bella! Elisabetta from Italy
I saw this just now. I find it funny that it was dated August 30th though it's the 29th. Hee. Thank you, Loreena, for your consideration. The note was very kind.
