I was one of the lucky guys to attent in Loreena's last Mediterannean concert in Athens Vrahon Theatre and the even luckier to meet her backstage after the concert ! I cant express my feelings with words, I am staring all the time at the autographed Visit album and the photo I got with Loreena.. She was so friendly, I hugged, kissed and expressed her my graditude for the gift of her voice !!! She is the most beautiful angel on earth !
The concert was the most amazing experience in my life.. I was discussing with my friends being there that her voice was the same clear, pure, expressive, mighty and warm as we listen in her recordings all these years.. A voice that was spreading through the Athenian night sky and pierced the soul of every listener... the musicians were fantastic, I was excited with Hugh Marsh (as a violinist I am) and Caroline Lavelle for their dazzling virtuocity ! I hope I will see Loreena again soon, God bless her !!

Exactly.. Especially here in Greece we have so many "artists" who can not sing without the support of back vocalists and special effects...
Noone can reach Loreena... Remember Douglas Campbell in Elemental's Lullaby "Oh for a Voice like Thunder... ".. that what it is.. a voice like thunder, piercing the sky !!

Indeed it is! Sometimes the voice we hear from singers live has nothing to do with what we hear in CDs. Loreena's voice has the same beautiful quality either recorded or live, proving her amazing talent!
I listened to her in Thessaloniki the day before you did in Athens and my soul soared. I'll never forget that concert!

congratulation and thanks for describing your deep intensive impressions. I visited the concert in Budapest and it was also a wonderful experience despite the rain (that stopped after a short time - magic!).
