I had the wonderful opportunity to see and meet Loreena at the bookstore in NYC for the release of her new cd. She performed Caravanserai, The Stolen Child and Raglan Road on the keyboard with the accompaniment of her lead guitarist. We all lined up to speak to her personally and she was so pleasant to her fans. She spent a long time with each and every fans. I remembered I had not charged my camera and I told her my camera is running out of power soon and that she would not mind if we have our picture taken as soon as possible. She said of course and was so cool about it. Oh, I had quite a few cds signed too. Yes, it was a delightful and memorable evening.

The hall in BN Bookstore isn't very big, I estimate around 250 people that evening. There were people who were not seated but were standing behind. I hope she will come again when her book is published.

I would've cajoled my parents into taking me to NYC for that BN thing had I found out before it happened (as opposed to two days after). I'm glad you had a lovely time, how many people were there?
