Just the same impression I had, Fabrizio Smiler!
Where was your seat, by the way?

My two cents, and impressions on the most magical concert I've ever lived Wink
Milan, March 22nd 2007, exactly 9 years after the concert in Turin on March 22nd 1998: Loreena is still at her greatest levels, together with her musicians she can create an astonishing blend of sounds, emotions and vibrations. I was amazed to see her jumping back and forth from several instruments, always natural and always with an absolutely flawless voice. When she started singing "The Lady of Shalott" I thought for a second that she was singing in playback as every single intonation was absolutely identical to the one on "The Visit"... in one word: stunning Big Grin
I'm really looking forward to seeing her live again somewhere around, a huge "thank you" to her, to all musicians, and to all QR staff and people who make this musical journey possible. Roll Eyes

Hi Fred Cool!!

No, I don't know that girl, but I saw her falling down after she put that bunch of flowers on the stage. Is she fine now?

I was in the tenth row; I was wearing a pink sweater and a blue jacket... where was your seat? Please give me some clues to recognize you...

However, you're right! Loreena was BRAVAAAAAAAAAAA indeed Wink.

I was among the standing "brava"-shouting people... I was actually shouting "BRAVAAA!!" all the time... =)
It was really great! Cant't describe it with words... And she was so sweet afterwards: she truly listened to our comments during the autograph signing out of the theatre! She is so caring... Love her even more! It was so exciting to tell her what I think about her music!
Vale, where was your seat? Do you know Crima (the girl who climbed on the stage and fell over...)?

See you all!
Fred.

Yesterday was one of the best days in my life.

Loreena was great on the stage and also after the show.
After a perfect performance (and when I say "perfect" I mean "excellent, flawless, wonderful & fun"), she came to meet us fans, and it was already 00.30!!
Loreena must have been very tired after such a performance and after all these days travelling across Europe, but she came to greet us all the same.
This has incredibly impressed all of us who were waiting outside the theatre, and made our admiration and esteem in Loreena increase a lot.

Smiler Thank you very much, Loreena, for all you sang, did and said last night Smiler.
And thank you Mark - I saw you, but I was totally entranced by Loreena Cool.
Thanks to all the musicians as well; Caroline Lavelle was great (I loved Dante's Prayer), but all of them were impeccable.
The stage designing was perfect too. I loved it when the lights turned red.

Talking about the concert...

First set:
She Moved Through The Fair / The Gates Of Istanbul
The Mummers' Dance
Penelope's Song
Marco Polo
The Highwayman
Dante's Prayer
The Bonny Swans
Caravanserai

The opening was great, all the songs were perfect, but the topical moment was when she sang "Marco Polo" in my opinion. I loved Loreena's moves on the stage, and the drummer was fun Big Grin!!
Loreena told us that her Italian has not improved since the last time she came here, and that the music would speak for itself. We said: OK!

Second set:
The Mystic's Dream
Raglan Road
Santiago
Beneath A Phrygian Sky
The Lady Of Shalott
The Old Ways
Never-ending Road (Amhràn Duit)

"Santiago" was great, great, great!! Loreena jumped on the stage, the audience clapped their hands, everybody seemed to enjoy the music and her voice. Great.
The live versions of "Beneath A Phrygian Sky" and "The Old Ways" (amazing drums!) are truly spectacular.
"The Lady Of Shalott" is probably my all-time favourite, and it was great to hear it live... it was an edited version, but it was a splendid emotion all the same.

When Loreena finished singing "Never-ending Road" there was a (partial) standing ovation, and all of the audience were applauding and cheering and shouting "BRAVAAAAA!!".

She came back on the stage to perform the two...
... Encores:
Huron 'Beltane' Fire Dance
Tango To Evora

Needless to say, they were great - especially "Tango To Evora". But the vocalise at the beginning of "HBFD" was pleasantly peculiar Wink.
There were two other standing ovations, after both of the encores.

During the show, I met Betty (CIAO!!!) and some other guys I had already met at Loreena's "meet & greet" in Milan.

We waited together for Loreena to come and, when we saw her, it was quite a moment!
I was one among the first people to get to talk to her. I told her "You were wonderful on the stage tonight", and she said "Oh, you had fun!". "Yes!". Then I told her my name and she signed my copy of "The Lady Of Shalott" sheet music. "Grazie!", I said.

Again, grazie grazie grazie for all that you did last night, Loreena.

Oh, and the double CD + DVD is great! I listened to the CDs on my way back home last night, and I'm watching the DVD right now, while I'm writing this post.

BRAVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
