Greetings from Istanbul,

Though the sadly illness of her mother, dear Ms. Loreena has performed his first concert in Istanbul tonight.

As a wiewer, who is still deeply in the effect of the concert, I should say ıt was a perfect experience for me.

They played some of the most popular songs and also some tracks especially prepared for the Turkish wiewers like Caravanserai or Tango to Evora (A famous turkish singer is known for her cover with turkish lyrics on that wonderful song.). The guitar solo of Bonny Swans, the battle of the guitar and the violin in Santiago and every single note of the concert was worth to see, however I would really like to hear All Souls Night: )

But there was an accident, which was a little bit worrying for us. Loreena has hurt her thumb during the show, however she was brave and talented enough to make an improvisation on The Lady of Shalott and we were happy to see her still smiling.

There's still much to say, but I have doubts if they can explain what I felt tonight; so, I can only thank to all the musicians who showed a great effort tonight and as the turkish audience, we hope that her mother will recover as soon as possible.

The only word I will use to describe the performance of Loreena McKennitt's performance in Istanbul will be SACRED...

Thanks to her, her great band and her crew very very much for letting us experience this magnificent night.

I too was there to see the concert. It was beautiful beyond words. I'd like to thank Ms. McKennitt and the other great musicians on the band for making the dream come true.

I believe it was a hard night for Ms.McKennitt, both emotionally(her mother's condition) and physically(the accident). We all worried for her. But she was so professional and brave. Even though her thumb's condition, she went on as nothing had happened. Such a great musician... We hope that she'll recover soon and we all wish our best for her mother to recover as soon as possible.

There's so much to say on that night. But i think words are not enough and thy're not capable of defining the feelings i have.

Oh, one more thing: another special thanks to Ms.McKennitt for her kindness and her modesty for seeing us after the concert and having conversation with us.
