As I am sure you are all aware, we recently launched a compilation titled A Mummers’ Dance Through Ireland. This project was conceived as an introduction to Loreena’s music, for those newly acquainted with her as an artist.
The album is available through Loreena's shop in a variety of formats. As medium fidelity and high fidelity digital downloads as well as CD format. It is also available from iTunes.
As always, we appreciate your thoughts and feedback and would love to know what you think.

I have recently got this new release and am happy of it indeed. None of the songs are new, as already said below by you folks, but I appreciate them so much though, as if they were inedited; it's lovely to re-listen to them assembled together in a different order. As to the one remix on it, I missed it and I enjoy it very much. The more I hear it, the more I like it. Eventually the cover and the choice of words and images, well I adore everything. What about 'I didn't choose my direction or my destination...' and on the other page 'It chose me.', alone? So effective, in particular because it complements the pic of Loreena on the street, ready to set out on it, ready to follow the path the music chose for her...and the journey begins!

There is no doubt about quality. Loreena is always Loreena... I prefer, instead, the album version. "De Gustibus" ... This message has been edited. Last edited by: <wildflower>,
It's interesting how people's tastes differ. I sort of like the edgy quality of the rexmix version. However, the one I like the best is the live version on Paris & Toronto...

I have listened the "The mummers'dance" remix, this is the only news, but sincerely I didn't liked it very much. I know, it is only a different experience of music, of course. but for me the Loreena's music is already perfect. it is unique and precious like a pearl into its shell. It doesn't need to change. It is just one of my reflection... Great list, indeed! Greetings, Mary

I received the CD, which is fast considering the distance (Which actually doubled the price , but still cheap )
Its a nice mix of oldies, has great art work, the little there is.
Someone who has already have all her CD's might pass on this one (unless (s)he is like me ). But for someone new to her music this CD might be just it, as a cheaper alternative to NFTA.

I am really pleased that you can buy each track individually. The Mummers' Dance[remix] is one of the only songs missing from my digital collection on my USB stick, but I didn't want to buy the single because that would mean buying the album version, and The Mystic's Dream as well, which I do already have.
I know that the CD version is a limited edition, but I'm wondering if the digital downloading of the album is a permanent addition to the QR shop, or if it too is only available for a certain time. In other words: do I have to hurry to buy The Mummers' Dance while it is still available singly?

Hi, Mark! This new CD is a great idea for the Loreena's new fans. Her music begins from Ireland and so this CD is perfect. The cover is really beautiful! Cheers, Mary
