Maybe QR could do something similar with Apple like EMI is (DRM free music for a wee bit more money).
Unfortunately, Quinlan Road cannot distribute DRM-free digital downloads versions of Ancient Muse in the US due to restrictions in their contract with their American distributor.
As soon as I heard the CD was going to be released, I pre-ordered it at Amazon.com. One of the main things I like about Amazon - pre-order!
I truly like this complication. I believe it's one of LMs best. I can't say it is her best; because I think her entire discography is too wonderful to pick just one as the best over the others.
Part of me can't wait for the next CD. While the other part is still totally enjoying Ancient Muse.
And I so want that tent on the album cover. Wouldn't it be great!

“The Ancient Muse” is the first cd of Loreena which we can buy in Polish shops. This is the reason she is not so popular in my country as in the others (however there is the group of her fans which have taught with her music in different ways). On the concert in Berlin I bought DVD and a few cd`s. I present Loreena`s music to my friends and they are begining to like it as I do. Jill, please answer me: is it possible to make previous Loreena`s records available in Poland? Greetings for LM fans all over the world.

I got it at borders the day it came out because I had 17.00 borders rewards, so I only ended up paying 60 cents. But then I heard Ragalan Road at her show and I went on ebay to see if I could get a copy... I ended up bidding on and winning a copy with Ragalan Road the came with a copy of "share the Journey". It was 27.00 but TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

I bought it from a retailer. It is not the quicker way to get it but waiting is also a part of the pleasure... Downloading it from iTunes leads to two problems: the drm sh*t and you miss the artwork.

Yeah, DRM is a pain but iTunes put a digital booklet with An Ancient Muse. Apple is also against DRM-badness and getting rid of it one bit at a time. Maybe QR could do something similar with Apple like EMI is (DRM free music for a wee bit more money).

I downloaded off iTunes because I'm impatient. I wish I'd waited and gotten it from Barnes + Noble, though. I wish I could have studio version of Raglan Road!

I purchased my copy at El Corte Inglés, I have bought some merchandising items from QR web but I waited to buy 'An Ancient Muse' at the store. Actually I have two copies one with the mistake in 'Sacred Shabbat' (very rare limited edition ) and another one right.

I purchased my copy at Wal-Mart. I don't normally purchase anything online, as I do not have a credit card and online checks are far too easy to forge (it happened to me once, and that was enough). I didn't even know about An Ancient Muse until late February 2007; Wal-Mart can be slow about getting new music on the shelves, especially in my area....

The last thing I forgot to tell you is that there are other places like Ebay or www.eil.com where you can buy special and legal items by Loreena and pay in many different ways, you can try to look for the B&N version there (they are selling the Spanish version of A.Muse in Ebay, too). Good luck!!!

Sorry, I posted a general reply and I didn't realize that just the previous one, yours, had a question on it. Hope it helps: my bank gives a number of "credit card" for free that you can use to buy in internet. This "number" is not linked to my bank account and it's not properly a CREDIT card. The only thing I have to do is put a certain amount of money in that card every time I want to buy something in internet. I don't know if there's a service like this in your country but it's a solution. It's difficult to escape from the world of "cards" nowadays, I understand it may be a bit embarrassing. If I get to know another solution for you I'll tell you here in this discussion. Take care!

For example, they are selling a nice karaoke version of "THE MUMMER'S DANCE", the Abdelli version of "God rest ye merry gentlemen" and the song "The bells of Xmas", which belongs to a movie soundtrack. The audio-books are also an interesting thing and they are a good way to improve English for non-native speakers. Hugs!
