It's a big word... But I couldn't help noticing that in Mercan Dede's song "Istanbul" (album: "800") there's a theme that comes from LM "Sacred Shabbat". Check 1'30" and 4'40" (...)

Thnx Jeanne.
The album "800" by Mercan Dede has just been released the 5th of November this year. Loreena's last year. But, I didn't really want to start a discussion about plagiarism (maybe my subject was badly chosen) .. I just wanted to share this with other LM-fans. I'm very aware of 'traditional music' and considering Mercan Dede is a Turkish muscian there's no surprise there.. He's very much into Sufism ("800" refers to the 800' anniversary of the birthday of the mystic poet Mevlana Rumi). Check it out! :-)
