An Ancient Muse

I was reading a review of this album and discovered Ms Loreena had gone into retirement after the passing of her fiance and that this was her first CD produced after several years. Was sorry to hear that, I know the feeling of loss I have experienced 4 in the last 5 years, and my wife with Alzheimers will leave me after suffering with this for over 7 years now and I too will be alone but for our boys. Father 07, Grandmother (a widow) about 08, mother in 11, sister's husband Christmas eve 10 (a person of standing in our family). Celtic music is sad but beautiful it mirrors life perhaps that is why I am enjoying her music so much. I know the feeling of loneliness and isolation at age 55. Condolences if this reaches your eyes. I hope you find comfort and inspiration again. George

Dear George,

it was very moving to read of your losses and I am so very sorry. From your posts here in the forum it seems you know that music is a great healer. And I have the feeling that, despite everything, you're still able to see the beauty that life holds and that is a great thing. I hope you'll find consolation ~ Anni
Thank you, I live on the water, the view is always changing season to season, dawn to dusk, Herons, spoonbills, pelicans and seagulls
Have 14 albums, two were duplicates, of which one was a gift for a friend. I do love to listen MS Mckennitt's music. I am fortunate, God has provided so that I can devote myself to her care I have been handed this though it is demanding we will make it then I will have to find a new direction.
