Loreena interview on Iceberg Radio

Thank you Karen! Smiler

Funny! Big Grin It's really fun when the mobile rings... "that's what happens when you run your own label!"...

What she says about the Celts and the contamination inspiring her music, about her curiosity and her being a vehicle and a catalyst for us all... sooo nice.

"When I read I book, I don't translate it into music... I just put it away and go to bed!" is another topical moment.

While we all know what the inspiration behind the songs was, we didn't know about the idea behind the title: the explanation she gives about the choice of "An Ancient Muse" is quite satisfying. The "umbrella" part is very clear, and gives the idea of what she wants to tell us with every album.

"Identity", "War & Conflict", "The Importance Of History & Why Don't We Learn From It?": she makes a beautiful summary of the album.

Very nice when "The Gates Of Istanbul" starts towards the end of the interview. What she says about spirituality confirms she is a very wise person. We really should found an International Committee named "Loreena For President". Cool Who wants to start collecting signatures with me?

And, finally, her laughter is sooooooo contagious!!! Big Grin
